You will snap and swoon as acclaimed vocalist Todd Murray swings and croons his way through the American songbook, as well as several originals and contemporary pieces. Recorded at Capitol Records historic Studio A, and with the lush brass and string arrangements conducted by the renowned Dennis McCarthy, Todd captures the same magic that Sinatra, Cole, Lee and Clooney created in that studio many years before him.
Todd has been seen singing the American Songbook from Japan to Russia, New York City to LA. His debut CD “When I Sing Low” garnered much praise including “Talkin’ Broadway’s” Top Ten Vocal CD’s of 2002. His Cinegrill performances were named LA Weekly’s Pick of the Month, and OUT Magazine named him on the “Hot List” for Cabaret singers. NY and LA audiences have seen Todd in numerous solo shows, including NY Townhall’s “Broadway By The Years 1935”, a month run at Feintstein’s Cinegrill in Hollywood and recently performed closing night of the Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall. He toured in the first Broadway tour of “The Secret Garden”, starred Off-Broadway in NYGASP’s “The Gondoliers”, and has been seen regionally at Papermill Playhouse, South Coast Rep and many others.
